Bike-a-Thon V (Route & Itinerary)

• June 21 - Thursday
• (Ride begins at 8:00 AM) Yerevan - Khor Virab (Rest Stop)
  Vosketap village : welcoming reception by the ATG Seed Growing Farmers
• Khor Virab to Baroyr Sevag (Rest Stop)
  (Stop and visit with the farmers on the rood we can stop by the fruit stands and have fun)
• Baroyr Sevag to Areni wine country (End the ride at 4:00 PM)
• Drive to Sissian (Dinner and overnight Hotel)
  Visit the Sissian Ethnographic Museum
• June 22 - Friday
• Visit Karahounj
• Begin ride : Sissian to Goris.
  If the roads are not in good form, we will start riding after the last village - from Gegh)
• Gegh to Stepanakerd
  (three rest stops) Lower check point; Latchin; Shushi
• Dinner and rest at Heghnar Hotel in Stepanakerd.
• June 23 - Saturday
• Bike tour in the City of Stepanakerd and then ride to Gandzasar (Rest Stop)
• Return to Kheramort (Rest Stop) and visit ATG Grape Nursery.
• Visit Karabagh's Prime Minister and Minister of Ag.
• Return to Vayk and rest overnight at the Tagouhin Tzori hotel by the river
• June 24 - Sunday
• Climb the Selim Pass to Martuni (Rest Stop), on the south shore of the Lake Sevan.
  On the road take a rest stop at Caravansari, and travel on the footsteps of old Silk Road.
• From Martuni, ride north along the lake Sevan and rest overnight near Sevan City
• June 25 - Monday
• Sevan to Dilijan (Rest stop)
• Dilijan to Vanadzor (Rest Stop)
• Rest overnight at Tufenkian Hospitality Hotel
• June 26 - Tuesday
• From Lori to Ashtaraki Dzor -- Rest stops on the Way :
  Akhourian milk tanks (purchased with funds from Bike-a-Thon II)
  Visit ATG Wheat Fields - Trial Plots
  Abaran - Visit the Monument in memory of one of the battlefronts during the 1918 war that helped establishment the first independent Republic, and General Dro's tombstone nearby.
• Ashtarki Dzor (Dinner and hotel)
• June 27 - Wednesday
• Ashtarak to Oshagan, Rest Stop at the Mesrob Mashdots Tombstone and Monastery.
• Travel to Etchmiadzin (Rest Stop nearby churches of Hripsime and Gayanne)
• Visit wheat farmers near ATG fields (Rest Stop)
• Return to Yerevan Velo Drum - Reception - end of the ride
